Hey you’re like me!!! So I applied october but was rejected. I have 3.5 UW and go to a really competitive small private school, and when I applied I had a 1700. My weakest point was math at a 470. I was able to study for a whole month ridiculously and got it up 90 points (I was hoping at least 120) to a 560 and I got my ACT up to a 26 and my math up 4 points to a 24…I was planning an appeal and retook these tests for it. It seems like you also had an increase in your score by a similar amount. If your act math was good, pitt also crosses over act and sat scores to make a new one…so my 24 act math is about a 590 sat, so when you put it all together id have a 1820 sat.

Sorry this is confusing with all the numbers. Bottomline is I know how you feel. If you can get a recommendation from a teacher you know well and did well in their class that will help. I got one from my math teacher bc pitt said they rejected me cause my math sat score and I did well last term with an A. Still try…they told me to go to greensburg btw
