no LOL. I just had nothing to add to the conversation.

it was sarcasm…

text can be confusing…

I’ve been to Asia. It was fun. I also heard that kids do not have the SATs there, cuz they are not avaiable, so they take the GREs and they ace!!

Is that crazy or WHAT!?!!?

they do have the SAT’s there…

except only in select places ;)

of course the have SATs there…

AP’s are also prominent in Asia if u know where to look for them!

Can something be considered prominent if you have to know where to look for it to find it?

yes. they are many people who know what APs are, an take it. Hence they are prominent. However if you don’t know what they are and where to look for them, you won’t be able to take them.

…can I finish that thought that you left hanging?

…Hence they are not prominent.

If the first sentence leads you to say “Hence they are prominent,” the last sentence you wrote leads to the opposite conclusion. Which takes us back to the simple point you made: that they are prominent only for those who know where to look. And that, in turn, takes us to my question:

Can something be considered prominent if you have to know where to look for it to find it?

yes. take the example of secret societies. they may be pretty prominent. however, one must look to find them.

hahahahahahhahhahahaha

seek the truth.

You mean prestigious. Or perhaps preeminent. Or are you saying that the individual members of secret societies are prominent?

Here are some antonyms for prominent: —Antonyms 1. inconspicuous. 2. recessed. 3. unknown. 4. secret

So a prominent secret society might be an oxymoron, no?

^ u misunderstand me. the situation is- the presence of secret societies(not one, but all) is known to all general public, hence is protuberant, protruding, projecting.

However the general public has to know where to find them.

So while the REPUTATIONS of secret societies (and SATs and APs) are prominent, they themselves are obscure and inconspicuous, right?

Secret societies (even though they are much publicized) are cool, like the Bilderberg Group, and the Trilateral Commission. Anyway, gotta run, still in school!

I am referring to these select places naidu…!!
Isnt that crazy??

Ah, well

Hello everyone.

get a grip…

Hi. /comment/
