There are a couple in there (first and second page)
I haven’t posted my stats in there yet. I’ll try to post from how the thread I linked wants it.

Status: Accepted
Residency: In State
Gender: female
Race: Asian
Major: mechanical engineering
ACT: 28 superscored or 30 (my 30 was disqualified for a mis-testing by ACT but NCSU says they received it so I’m not sure if they count it)
Essay: I talked about race and being a minority in a mostly white area. Do they use the other 4 for admissions? (I wrote those in a couple hours because my mom nagged me about applying to whatever scholarships they’re for.)
Rigor: No AP (my school offers none but I’ve taken 70+ credit dual enrollment classes. They only have honors)
Extracurriculars: no leadership. Art club for four years, a small amount of volunteering, quiditich for a year, job for a different year
Class rank: 1/Too small to matter (my class size on my transcript can be counted on 1 hand…)

Honestly I think a big part of my acceptance is that I’m a female. A couple guys, who applied to NCSU engineering, were deferred. I know one has better EC and transcript than me (he has one B while my transcript can spell CAB a few times… He also has done a lot of volunteering and holds a few positions I think? He had a personal statement and did the 4 small essays). I’m not sure about the other dude (pretty sure he did a personal statement fhough) but I’m sure most at my school would regard him as smarter. I did know a girl at my school who was lower than me who had applied for engineering. I think she was rejected? Maybe they liked my choppy race essay (I didn’t do it last minute like the other ones but I know my ideas could have flowed better) and used my 30? Or that I live in the middle of nowhere…

Good luck! Even if your standardized test scores are weak for NCSU, I’m sure school rigor and an essay can make up for it.

On an off note: NCSU needs a simpler way to put in transcripts. They have 3 versions of my high school transcript… I feel like manually putting in each class for high school and college is their own version of hazing applicants.
