Thank you for the kind words @TS0104 – luckily it seems like it’s getting easier to tell people; I had to grin and bear it at first but most of the people I thought would comment were actually happy for me, or at the least felt bad for me 
I know I’ll get over it by the time I go to college in a few months, so I’m trying to just forget about it. And you’re right, I would be second-guessing myself no matter what the decision, so I guess it was inevitable!
