<p>I LOVE Dostoyevsky!</p>
<p>One of my biggest shocks about college is the short amount of time dedicated in class to each book we read. It’s like, read it, write about it, NEXT, read, write, NEXT…Kinda like a homework assembly line with frustratingly little time to dig deep.</p>
<p>I’ve only read Whites Nights/some other short story, first 300 pages of Brothers K, and my favorites, Notes from the Underground. I have the unabridged K and it’s get lonely on my bookcase… then again I have a lot of books I haven’t read… kinda depressing since I won’t be able to until… Thanksgiving and December realistically.</p>

<p>i have math discussion today and i hope that the TA answers questions thoroughly, unlike last time… the homework is due friday but i have to do it by every tuesday so i can ask questions during discussion. i’m debating whether or not i should go to history lecture afterwards…</p>
<p>one of my roommates is really sick and most people on our floor are, too… she has been coughing/throwing up… that airborne better do me good.</p>

i just came back from math discussion and history lecture. I CAN NOT STAND MY MATH T.A. HE DOES NOT KNOW ***<em>. we had to correct him a million times. like, when a limit is approaching infinity you divide the numerator and denominator by the highest variable factor in the denominator, and he DID NOT KNOW THAT! he was dividing by the highest factor in the numerator. he starts the class right when he walks in, which is 10 minutes earlier than class starts. he has at least 10 seconds of pause in between every phrase he says, and he doesn’t even finish his sentences. “so that shows that this function is… *10 sec pause</em> and then…”</p>

<p>on a lighter, more boring note,
history lecture is pointless and i think i’ll just watch it online from now on. prof ruiz is HILARIOUS though.</p>

<p>i thought he said something about videos. he kept saying it too, “my lecture will be posted online”… but i guess it’s just the slides cuz i can’t seem to find it. no videos, no manuscripts either. i’ll confirm with a friend later… DARN now i have to go to lecture :mad:</p>
