LECOMâs email said they need the undergrad email address by November 1st. I canât believe any college would force you to make the choice before May 1st unless you applied ED! Which undergrad is that?

This is not the only affiliated college your student was accepted to, right? Usually, colleges have 5 spots for LECOM EAP and once the student commits, the spot is taken. Thatâs why they are rushing your student.
Following college enrollment, you get Provisional Letter of Acceptance and then considered to be officially enrolled in LECOM EAP.
That is correct, but every college has limited number of spots and if all those are taken, you cannot enroll in the program.

So once we accept are we bound to LECOM. They told us the following ----âBy agreeing to receive the Provisional Letter of Acceptance, the student agrees to not apply to or enroll in another medical, dental or pharmacy schoolâs Early Acceptance Program, Early Assurance Program or apply to another medical, dental or pharmacy school while still enrolled in the LECOM EAPâ âŠThis seems like they are closing the deal on us and asking us to make a decision right away .? Yes we only applied to 1 LECOM affiliated college.

I think the problem is that you only applied to 1 feeder. Usually people apply to more than 1. If LECOM EAP accepts them, they have a choice what college to go. But if you applied to only 1 college and that college is pressuring you to commit earlier, then I am not sure what to advise.
Are you hesitant to commit because you applied to several combined programs and LECOM EAP is not your top choice?
You put 3 on your initial application. Yes, you can change your top choice at any point before committing to the program.
