Can someone living in California share info on getting EMT experience or something similar. They are not offering any programs for under 18yrs.

Which state do you live in?
The national age a student can sit for the NREMT is 16, but obviously different states determine what they consider eligible for licensure in their state.
My C25 got their NREMT (and state licensure) at 16 but obviously nowhere will hire them. Need to be at least 18 (and some companies require 21.) for now, they ride along as a 3rd person on a volunteer ambulance (paramedic, adult EMT, plus my kid.) The org wonāt allow them to learn how to drive the rig until at least their 18th birthday.
in CA it was not possible unless 18 years or older. Even to do courses related to EMT in private or community college it was not possible.
Since CA wonāt allow it, youāre out of luck.

I havenāt heard anyone mention those programs yet. The last one Iām waiting on is Pitt, literally SO NERVOUS

Arizona APME mentions on their website interviews will be held on Mar 8 2024. I am assuming they will send out interview invites by Feb 15.
When will interviews take place?
Interviews will take place on March 8, 2024, and will be held via Zoom with about 30 applicants. We will not hold makeup interviews.
APME sends out interviews on 2/25.

Some people got honors college acceptances this week. Donāt know if itās rolling acceptances. From the list of honors college acceptances, they choose interviews in March.

Their site below indicates that interviews will be conducted on 2/19 so we assumed that interviewers will be informed by now. D didnāt hear anything so assuming she didnāt get the interview.
