Thread Where You Can Rant About Everything That Is Wrong With The World

Oil companies.

The oil spill.

People who want Obama to be a more emotional president. I don’t want an emotional president. I want an effective one. Yes, effectiveness and emotionalness are mutually exclusive. I don’t think Obama is particularly much of either.

The religious right.

Being condesceded at work because I haven’t been doing this for five years!

Country music.

Conservatives who are not intelligent enough to create their own political platform so they just aim to destroy every progressive piece of legislation that the Democrats try to do; and that they hypocritically blame the Obama administration for “not doing enough” with regards to the oil spill. Hello… what happened to individualism and small government? I though conservatives/libertarians wanted these things…

That Wall Street thinks that their actions are carried out inside a vacuum.

This kind of goes along with #1, but American ignorance towards other cultures and ways of life.

That religious beliefs cause immeasurable conflict and affect way too many significant policy decisions.

Socialists who want to fundamentally transform America

Nancy Pelosi

Education system

Hypocritical liberals who ignore facts, logic, and reasoning and use their profound ability to be obnoxious to make entire demographics look stupid

Hippies

Gaza protesters

Condescending Prius drivers (they are less annoying when their accelerators get hammed)

Idiot Duke fans

Idiot NC State fans (although not as bad as idiot Duke fans)

Keith Olbermann

That’s all for now.

Not to mention that all robbers are clean-shaven white males who dress in all black and wear a scull cap. Do they seriously think that we’re stupid or something?

I’d like to see an Asian robber in one of their commercials.
Or maybe a little person.

I do find it quite humorous that some of the posters are using their rants to take shots at one another. I love CC.

I want to see what happens when one of the guys isn’t scared off by the alarm or a petite blonde calls the house to see if everything’s ok.

This would be epic. Maybe they are saving that commercial for the superbowl or something?

Actually never noticed that the phone operators all seem to be jacked white men. Interesting.

my thing about divorce is that I know so many people whose parents have been divorced and throughout their childhood, they’ve had to split time between the two parents. It just seems like a bad situation for the kids. Maybe I’m wrong about what the kids really feel.

-Islam, and the numerous injustices it perpetuates around the world. The rape of children, the suspense of human rights, the subjugation of women as chattel; it’s horrifying.

-Israel. You’d think an officially Jewish nation would understand the history of Lebensraum eh?

-The CIA. We suck, too many things to list.

OH and Glenn Beck. Cry me some crocodile tears, mormonboy.

■■■■■ @ OP’s list of “what is wrong with the world.” It’s such a conservative view and IMO definitely did NOT hit on ANY of the real problems with the world -_-; /facepalm

I apologize for being a conservative? haha sorry for making you facepalm :)

The Python computer scripting language.

Facebook.

Internet forums.

How do you think the kids in loveless marriages feel?

And yes, you are wrong, or at least generalizing. A lot of kids, myself included, would love to have amicably divorced parents who are both still in their kid’s lives.

Read this in Seinfeld’s voice:

What’s the deal with airline food these days?

Definitely Facebook, it’s secretly destroying everyone’s lives and creating a false reality that we all succumb to. It is anything but. Fb is a temporal and short-lived fantasy that you channel your existence through to sustain your existence but in fact is only creating more problems for your life than solutions because it drives you into an ephemeral stage of self-assurance by using others as a means to defy yourself and revolt. It is horrid. The Real Life would be exempt from a digital interface because technology compartmentalizes us entirely. (Of course this is not a worldly issue just a HUGE personal one).

And, it depends on how you use it too.

^^lol yeah seinfeld is right when it comes to comedy about airplane food.

I might add to the whole Facebook thing that Internet addiction is rapidly transforming this generation into a race of zombies reluctant to live a normal life. When asked which technology Americans can not live without they answer 1)Internet over 2)Cars and 3)TV.
Here is my list of things I hate about the Internet and other things
1.Viruses-Trojans,Redirects,Malware,Spyware keep forcing me to spend needless hrs fixing my laptop
2.Facebook and Youtube when abused excessively
3.Hackers

4.F****tards playing Loud music at night.
5.Fake Celebs with a fake personality
6.Commuting to places
7.Economy

Rihanna is definitely a part of Illuminati…■■■■■.

That’s a dismissive and insulting way of thinking. I happen to know a couple that’s been dating for close to three years now, ever since eighth grade. Who are you to say whether or not they love each other? (They do, by the way - as deeply as teenagers can.) I know other teenage couples in one to two year relationships who share genuine affection. In fact, my cousin and his wife of ten years started dating as sophomores, and another cousin is engaged to marry a girl he started dating in high school…not to mention three or four pairs of aunts and uncles that were high school sweethearts.

Some teenagers will date just because it’s "cool, but please don’t expand the label to all of us, especially those who sincerely like another person (shocker! :open_mouth: ) and enjoy being romantic with them.
