For anyone who’s never been there, RFK (former home of the Redskins) is a GREAT football stadium. Many DC locals prefer it to FedEx Field (current home of the Redskins) because RFK is more intimate and crowd noise is a huge deal.

Of course, it will be kinda cold in DC in December as compared to, say, San Diego. But it will be easy (cheap) to bring the entire brigade to the game, if that’s in the cards.

Academic term ends on December 18th, you really think that the entire Brigade would be attending? Canceling a portion of Holiday leave for a Football game would really get the parents listserv going!

No clue. Not suggesting it would happen or that anyone intends for that to happen, only that it’s logistically possible and relatively inexpensive.

Given today’s show on the field, I would not be counting on a Bowl game just yet. Great first half with Navy not showing up for the second half.

And what was so great about the first half. Our defense was horrible. Their QB had all day to throw and his receivers were seldom covered. Giving up 21 points in a half does not make it great. Kaipo was rusty and tentative and Kettani got injured and neither Kaipo or Bryant and Campbell ever really clicked. Sloppy play all day. They need a little tightening up.

Only thing was we were ahead - just trying to be charitable as the rest of the game really was not pretty, actually pretty ugly.

Next week could be an interesting day as neither team has been very impressive. Rutgers was not looking too good on Thursday so unless things change it will not be too stellar of a game for Parents weekend.
