tiger woods...DUI arrest...stephen smith analysis

I agree twoinanddone. The person as rich as Tiger should have used the brain & take a taxi or simply have hired a driver.

He might be addicted to painkillers… It makes me thinking of Michael Jackson and Prince :frowning:

@HarvestMoon1 - Yes, I think it is all public information according to Florida law. Usually the press and the public are just not interested in seeing it, unless something spectacular happens.

Tiger is one who seems to typically drives himself. and he said in the DUI video that he like to drive. There are photos and video of him out and about wearing similar clothes to the DUI video, doing regular things, like going to CVS for gum. I did wonder how long he had been out since he had his sunglasses on his hat.

Yes, I hope he gets help. Sad.

^^ Boy, I can’t type today, but it is too late to edit.

Something to also think about, to some folks, being driven around by a chauffeur would be considered in their mind the equivalent of being back in childhood/early teenhood where they must be driven by mom and dad or older siblings all over the place.

Or feelings that employing a chauffeur is “too ritzy” for them even if they had the money/means.

^^ better than feeling like an idiot sitting in jail with a DUI.

That’s good and probably pre-emptive of whatever if anything the prosecutor decides to do about a plea. Florida has those “drugged driving” laws…

My son got pulled over for erratic driving because of his psych meds. I felt terrible - I didn’t realize they were impacting his ability to drive! And of course, any incident like being stopped by cops is stressful and causes his symptoms to increase. Lesson learned! By his own decision, he doesn’t drive anymore.
