Time between classes

Is the section with Stephen Quartz? If so, you’re in luck; you got placed into one of the best humanities classes offered at Caltech.

As for reading, it’s really funny that the question was brought up;

whenever I go back home, I read more in two weeks than I do in 2 months at Caltech. I probably read over 200 pages a day back home, whereas I’m lucky to read 15 pages a day at Tech.

Here’s the thing…it has NOTHING to do with free time. I have far more free time at Tech during SURF than at home, yet I still read over ten times more.

A lot of it is simply the distractions of Tech (even when there’s nothing to do) plus the lack of students that engage in pleasure reading, making one forget how important it is.

Seriously though, considering that many students play a solid 30+ hours a day of DOTA, WoW, etc., it’s never purely a question of free time when it comes to pursuing one’s hobbies and interests outside of studying.
