If there was a surefire way to get into Georgetown, don’t you think people would have figured it out by now? All you can do is represent yourself as honestly and as best as you can and hope that they take you. They like different applicants for different things, and it’s pretty arbitrary. For example, the Dean sent me a letter after my acceptance and told me that my work as an Eagle Scout played a big part in my acceptance, but you can’t really tell what they like about you until after acceptance letters are sent out since it completely depends on how you portray it as well. The best tip I can give you is to make sure your application reflects who you are as a person. If you’re applying for a school/major that doesn’t actually interest you, a) they will see right through it and b) you won’t be able write a good essay about something you’re not passionate about.
