<p>Yes, I was invited and attended the wedding. The bride my brother’s oldest D. The picture on the card is of the bride and groom only…no extended family. It’s a very cute pic taken on their wedding day with them facing each other and holding small signs that say “I’m her Mister” and “I’m his Mrs”.</p>

<p>My first Holiday Letter is now in the mail. I was struck by similarities to the Common App essay as I was writing it, “Remember your audience, be sure to use your own voice…” I ended up with a summary of college visits, including humorous mishaps. Also a spring break trip, but left out the trip to Hawaii because everything went perfectly. I included a photo of DD at the top, despite DH’s claim that it looked a bit like an obituary. I must say I enjoyed getting all the cards done in less than an hour, with just a few lines of handwritten greeting and the folded up letter. These have only gone to people who send us similar letters and one or two others who knew DD as a small child and may be interested in her future plans.</p>
