TiT#18 ver2

Thank you Tippu! Your links are brilliant as well!
Funny, my ACT scores have reached Middlebury but not Yale. I’m getting slightly worried :|

Had class photo shoot yesterday after school time. Yes we are graduating!
I’m going to miss the red old building. :(

Princeton- Hopefully you’ll have gotten my PM, otherwise if you’re by any chance secretly looking at this thread, it was nice knowing you, and best of luck for your future endeavors! :)

It just struck me. We’ll be the ones posting exactly that in a few months. I strongly dislike the word “bye”. :(

I’m leaving CC when my vacations get over. Pakka

Friend’s status on FB:
(He topped the ICSE 2009 btw)

Q. What do you get when you add 2 apples to 3 apples?
A. A SAT Level II maths problem.

being a board topper is a BIG hook …
i am sure he’ll sail thru the college decisions

Sorry to go off topic…but are you all 12 graders?
I’m a 10th grader. From India(!?). I’ve been ■■■■■■■■ CC for some time…wondering how to make an introduction…well Hi!

^Hey!

being a board topper is a BIG hook …
i am sure he’ll sail thru the college decisions

That’s what you might think but no… His essays etc have to be good too, right. Btw I don’t even think he applied so that’s a mute point

*moot point.
Sorry, spelling nazi here.

Pixie, I completely agree with your post. It’s like a crazy mix of excitement, uncertainty, and sheer terror. Especially since we’re in the wrong side of the year. I’m so used to thinking “Oh, __ days till the first day of school” and planning my bag and everything, it’s gonna be SO strange when I don’t do that. The 12 year journey of our life is coming to an end. Gosh this is momentous.
(I still have 5 months left and I’m already getting dramatic).

Today is a good day. I got an interview request from one of my colleges, and one of my classmates got into CAMBRIDGE! He completely deserved it, we’re so so happy for him  :)

Good stuff!

And aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhh I’ll KILL my friends who convinced me that it’s mute point not moot point. I always knew that it was moot point

God damn.

It was a trivial mistake, CHILL.

I just watched the first 15 minutes of the Skins US pilot. It’s terrific. Terrifically BAD. If anyone here’s watched the original UK Skins, don’t watch this-it’s cringe-worthy.The acting is ***** and in their attempt to remain ‘authentic’, everything seems ridiculous and contrived. I couldn’t sit through it, it sucks so much.

:)

So… My cmu interview was today. Went good-ish. I was almost going to reconsider the prospect of attending cmu if I get accepted because the interviewer was really weird, mumbling to himself, wasn’t asking me too many questions, more like me interviewing him because I had questions about cmu. I thought that he was something like stephen hawking…

Then when I walked with him to his car I realized that he was paralysed one side and he could not walk properly. Words cannot describe what I felt at that moment. :'(

The interview went really well though…

Whoa man. That’s sad. :(

Btw, where was the interview?

At the interviewer’s office…

feels awkward i haven’t been infracted for a while.

transfer applications are a pain in the butt. kill me already.
two posts in a row. wow.

@ansrox: Where have you applied for transfer?

@accioquote- Hello there! It seems we have another Tetrisfan here lol. Started quite early eh?

Arunemo- Btw, when I said that I was ‘leaving’, I wasn’t meaning for good of course. Only for the time when pre boards went on. I dunno if I’ll fully leave this site ever. I might probably keep popping in occasionally even while in college. After all, there’s grad school.
Yep, I agree about school life flashing in front of your eyes in a moment. I’ve been in the same school all my life so it’s harder to say goodbye. It’s going to be strange, but is it? 11th passed away in IIT coaching, and school had little meaning then. 12th passed away in a blink too. I think school ‘life’ ended for me after 10th. The last year feels like a day when I think about it. Everything seems so clear in the mind.
I actually cannot wait for college so that I can finally relax. :stuck_out_tongue: First sem should be a breeze… and fun! I’m going to take subjects that won’t make me feel like I’m studying at all! :D

cornell as of now compsci
