And now to find the queen.

Psst… pixie, a challenge for you.

And now to find the queen.

Psst… pixie, a challenge for you.

Fabregas and Princeton-I now regret choosing such a gender ambiguous screen name.
Ask Pixie and Aniruddh-My real name is so similar to my username you won’t doubt my gender anymore. I swear no one’s ever debated so much on whether I’m a guy or a girl o_O
Fabregas-About your essay-TRIM. Now. I have to do an extended essay which is the longest graded paper in my IB diploma and it’s 4000 words. The fact that your Personal Statement is 5000 words looks like it’s on it’s way to becoming a dissertation. Honestly, shorten it. I doubt the AdComs will have time to plough through a 5000 word personal statement. It sucks, and I’m sure you have a great story to tell, but I think you should focus on one particularly profound event or memory.

^ I am working on it.

I appreciate all your opinions - I really needed 'em.

Arunemo: Wait, I thought you were a guy. Isn’t Aru/Arun your first name?

If I have to make a guess about her name, I’d place my money on Arunima. That’s my mom’s name too!

Wait, her? Damn, I missed out on the convo.

Damn itsmylife, you’re either a genius psychic, a creeper, or both o_o

^ Option one. I should hope. But come to think of it, no other popular Indian female name is similar to arunemo, barring Aruna, which I think we ruled out.

BTW, you all seem so happy. How do you let the deadlines NOT get to you? Lately, I’ve been entrenched in a perpetual state of depression. I need to get out more, maybe. :(

Haha!

The deadline is 15 days or 45 days from now, VM!

Good reasoning itsmylife
Haha if only you could see how haggard I look in real life…the bags under my eyes are only gonna disappear on June 11th (When I graduate :p).

Ani, 15 days, 2 essays, 3 LORS (my teachers refused to write them), final exams in school, subject tests Dec 4, and lord know what else. I think I gotta breathe.

Nemo, if only you could fast forward life, right? I’d forward it to April 1:P

I’d forward it to June. Remember I get my offers before the penultimate IB exams in May.
Agh if I was in India I would’ve been done with the boards and gotten a letter of acceptance or two in the mail right after. Be thankful, desi people.

Hee Hee Hee, arun, we’ll be getting letters of acceptance(hopefully acceptance) during the boards!
And all the rest right after them!
Now go green with envy. You were turning green at the incomplete picture.

I’m in love guys!!

Tbh, I don’t get what we should be thankful about. I would love to know the result before my graduation. It would make everything in HS so much easier then. The fact that the deadlines are so near our finals is draining me out slowly.

With that serial killer?
Go away. ;)

Bubbles you fall in love as frequently as I go mad.

And I fall “in love” (ughie) as frequently as I smoke.

I don’t smoke.

Arunemo- Congrats on your promotion to Junior Member
I doubt you noticed?

ED/EA kids get their decisions during midterm week at my school.

And haha, yes, “the serial killer.”

And lolzzz, let me better phrase that- I’m in lust.

Well with me it’ll be like “YAY I got accepted! (I hope I do. In one uni at least). Let’s celebrate! Oh hang on, I have my ultra important IB exams in 3 weeks. Guess it’ll have to wait for a month”.
