WCU: It hasn’t been my experience that first impressions/results corroborate always with academic facts; some people with very high test scores/grades have nothing to say and others with less impressive tests and grades are interesting, imaginative and articulate; obviously I’m talking about a narrow range of grades/scores overall. Then there are the simply wonderful kids who probably would not thrive at all at a place like Harvard. Anyway, to each his own; as long as you can capture something of what makes the student special or interesting or real, it can add value to the decision process. Good luck on your reports!

Submitted 10/15; no contact yet. Do I need to worry? Tallahassee, Florida

Just had my interview today. :O

DECEMBER 15TH. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

I wonder if anyone got interview around my area, allahassee, Florida?

Sorry! There was a typo; I meant if anyone got interview in my area, Tallahassee, Florida.

To all those who have not been contacted yet, know that being contacted for an interview sooner rather than later is no implication of what the school thinks of you as an applicant. So they probably just have not gotten around to it yet, or they are still struggling to find interviewers in your area. I am sure they will get around to it eventually. But still, CCers all over the place have said that it did little to help them out anyway, and there are some who were admitted without the interview. :)

My interviewer just forwarded the invitation to me. I can see that Harvard assigned me to her in late October and she just got in touch with me now…Wow…Btw, it’s such a short term notice, I have like so many things going on right now but I don’t want to make her wait…

has anyone been contacted for an interview in the cleveland area?

Has anyone from GTA, ON, Canada got their interview yet?

Looking at your name, I think you will find a way out of it.

I’m from Kitchener, ON, Canada, and I had mine a week and a half ago.

@power4good: I originally wanted to use dumbanddumber, but seemed like there’s already one. So I just the opposite :)

@JoyfulPoet: When did you submit your app?

I sent it in on October 25th.
Why, have you not been contacted?

Yes. I’m starting to really worry now… but I sent my app on the last possible day.

Oh, well they say getting an interview or not getting one doesn’t really matter, right?
Don’t worry, I’m sure it’s fine either way. :)

Thanks JoyfulPoet. Best of luck and hope everything is fine! How’s your interview, by the way? :)

It was great, actually! I had a wonderful time. We had A TON in common, and we basically just chatted about stuff for an hour and a half. No tricky questions like I’ve heard from others on here. At the end, he made some very encouraging comments that made me feel he is going to write a very nice report, so I feel pretty great about it! :)

^ Sigh, I can’t help but feeling envious
Well, I guess if it isn’t meant to be, it isn’t meant to be.

Submitted October 25, finally contacted November 18. Interview is on December 3…cutting it pretty close to the December 15 deadline…woooo!

Good luck everyone!

^How does that work? The full committee meets on Nov 30.
