Volunteer Experience: Not much, but I had done community services by interacting with intellectually disabled children
Essay: I wrote about how I was bullied in high school for being a NERD, and how that made not follow my true calling of astrophysics. I eventually went into fashion, and did well ( and even got a Master’s ) and had my own business, although my heart was always elsewhere. An eventual diagnosis of Aspergers made me forgive myself, and made me realise that i can go and chase my dream of becoming an astrophysicist.
Recommendations: My high school Math teacher and ( believe it or not ) Tim Gunn from Project Runway.
