I don’t know anything about her mother, it could run the full spectrum. But one can infer from the OP’s posts that she believes that her mother is an ignorant moron. (No, I am not being repetitive. There are people who are ignorant of the world. And there are stupid people. They can be mutually exclusive.) This is a teenager talking who feels that she has boundless possibilities. And one of the people who got her to this stage, whatever the involvement, has no right to claim any credit or share in any joy.

My comment about the difference/and the nuance of ignorant morons was directed to the OP. It was not directed to anyone else reading this thread. (Just a clarification in case someone thought it was directed at others.)

although it is true that smart, talented, and beautiful people get talked about and often ridiculed, yet never by someone who is smart, talented and beautiful.

Did you know Brown actually has an upload headshot (I think it said: attached picture of yourself, optional) section on their app, at least it did 4 years ago. I thought it was odd.

Actually, The USC School of Theatre most certainly does require a standard 8x10 Headshot, as they should. This is Los Angeles after all, get used to it people. ;-)
