Though housing is not guaranteed at all. You can pretty much get housing for 3 years. If you do not care about who you live with at all, you can often squeeze in for all 4 years.

Colleges like Lovett always have a housing surplus.

Just wanted to add that while I have no idea what the percentages are, I’m guessing that lots of parents won’t be able to make it to campus for Families Weekend. There are other ways to reach out, for sure. I have a feeling that the Post Office will be doing record business with all the extra flat rate priority mail boxes headed to 77005 with home-made cookies, favorite study snacks, etc. In line with the question raised about how best to support our Owls during FW, it might be helpful ask what our Owls would most like to see in upcoming boxes. I’m pretty sure that in most parts of the country, a box that ships out on Wednesday will arrive on Friday. And not to forget skyping, calls, and all the ways that international parents send love, too.

Fall Semester 2010 is winding up. The stress factor is building – you may sense it in calls, e-mails, skyypes, etc. I thought you might want to see what the calendar looks like for the rest of the term. Friday’s the last day of classes. It also means, for many of us, that our Owls will soon be home!
