To the seniors of 2008

hey taomom, this is one of the best write ups I have ever read. Your post definetely gives a meaning to college education.

I am from Nepal. I applied to US colls neither for reputation nor bcoz of the hope of getting high paying jobs but simply bcoz I want holistic education, so that I will be equipped to make a difference in the world. Yeah, there are plenty of things in the world today that needs change. We must all realize this and make a promise to do all what we can to make earth a better place to live in.

It is the next 4 years that is important rather than the college u attend.

Go ahead…the world is yours…even sky is no limit :)

Superb post!!!
Great!!!
Really impressing!!!
It should be published the world over…

wow, thank you for taking the time to write this… a lot of effort and dedication must have been placed in the writing on your behalf! :)

Absolutley beautiful, Taomom. I’m saving it for my daughter to read as she graduates, to read if she becomes disheartened on the college path, to read if she doubts her place in the world.

And may I add to your wishes for the class of 2008? That they grow to absorb a measure of the sensitivity and wisdom that you demonstrate, Taomom, providing the same encouragement to those who come behind them.

Taomom,

I will share this with my S as he prepares to head off to college this year. This post was truly inspirational.

This is interesting…
