To those of you who got accepted into Stanford and are pursuing a science/math career: have you ever gotten B’s in a MATH class during freshmen, sophomore or junior years of high school? If so, what class was it? Algebra II? Geometry? Pre-calculus?

Why is this in the University of Chicago forum? Might do better on Stanford

Well, I got a couple B’s in Biophysicalchemicalnucleosis in 9th grade, but the University of Chicago School of Engineering still accepted me. I think you’ll be fine.

LOL @ Louie

Louie. You lie. The Chicago School of Engineering is invite only. And no one’s been invited in 120 years.

Ah beefs, you got it wrong there; I got a letter a couple of weeks ago stating that I lost my chance to get an invite to this Hawaiian kid because I received a B in chemolosics in 9th grade :(.

There is a University of Chicago school of Engineering, there’s also a great theater, journalism, education, and communications program-- they’re just in Evanston :-P
