The valedictorian in my school was actually my brother haha.
he got accepted to:

Princeton - Full ride (this is where hs is going now)

Columbia - very generous scholarship

Johns Hopkins - very generous scholarship

University of Maryland College Park

Duke

UPenn

Class of 2010
Val: Brown University
Sal: College of William & Mary (after being rejected from UPenn :/)

That was last years stuff. My Val and Sal haven’t received anything yet, because Val applied to Yale EA, and applied to a few others, but hasn’t heard back. And Sal is going to Rutgers, I think, because he thinks grad school is more important than where he goes for his undergrad.

Our Class of 2010 Valedictorian is currently attending Yale but also got admitted to Stanford, Princeton, Northwestern, Brown, and most of the other Ivy Leagues besides Harvard.

Our school Val from 2010 chose to go to the Brigham Young U in IDAHO. That’s the only place she applied. Our SAL got into Duke and Northwestern and chose Notre Dame. The guy with a perfect 36 ACT got into Princeton but chose Colorado College.

dang, our school valedictorian is going to cedarville university in ohio. he probably could have gotten into big places like the ivies though but just never bothered I suppose.

There isn’t really a valedictorian as there are like 7-8 people ranked #1. But soo far, 2 of them got accepted into Stanford and another into Caltech. I know one is going to Stanford for sure. The other two are waiting for other responses before committing. My class is extremely crazy in terms of academics.

Neither of last years co-valedictorians got accepted to Northwestern, but I did They are both attending small private not very well known schools.

rice wth full scholarship, kids from my school arent that ambitious, they are content with full rides to home state colleges, etc.
nothing wrong with that though

Our Val went to Harvard, and Sal to Northwestern. But the Val got in everywhere (every Ivy, MIT, Caltech, the works) but got deferred and then rejected from stanford. It was the only school she didnt get into.

hey everyone i know this is not relevant to this thread but can someone help me out?

Hello! I’m applying to Harvard online through the Common App. I see that there is the Harvard Supplement on Common App. However, I do not see the Teacher Evaluation form or the Secondary School Report. Does that mean I have to print them out and mail them?

Anyone with a 4.0 at my school is a valedictorian, which is just great since they don’t weight grades. I would be top 3 for sure, with a shot at valedictorean otherwise :(

Anyways, my close friends are two of them (although they didn’t take many APs…slackers :D) and one is going to Wisconsin-Madison and the other to Michigan Tech. I’m not knocking on them at all, they’re awesome guys. But UW valedictorians should be taken worth a grain of salt.

ours got into princeton, yale, harvard, brown, MIT, stanford, upenn, and every single other school she applied to. the girl was flawless
she’s at harvard now
