<p>If I were you, politrix, I’d pick UCSD.
UCSD’s econ dept is on par with UCLA’s dept, and for some area (econometrics), UCSD is ahead of any of the UCs.</p>

<p>And the school name itself carries lots of value. UCD is good with engineering but that’s not what you are going for. and UCSB is just bleh…</p>

<p>not yet… I gonna submit my sir at the very last minute just like how I submit my applications. seriously, I have a tough decision to make because I wanna go to berkeley however I hate leaving my gf… Living with my gf is full of joys everyday and she’s all I got… Damn… it’s a lose-lose situation…</p>

<p>Would you choose love over education? I know. Totally unfair question, but it’s kind of true. If you think she is the “one” maybe it’s worth reconsidering, but if it’s just a fling (which I don’t think it is from reading what you typed) I wouldn’t think twice about staying for someone and missing out on great education.</p>
