too late to get the 'Bama scholarship?

<p>M2CK - a question for you (since I know you’re very knowledgeable about UAlabama).</p>

<p>Now that UA isn’t offering a “full ride” anymore, why do you think students are still picking it? I know that UA has the highest # of NMFs this year even with the scholarship cuts - what’s the reason for picking it over other schools of the same caliber (ex. Barrett @ ASU or UA @ B) that offer full rides?</p>

<p>I would think that the approximate 20k or so - over three years - for housing is enough to turn students away. Any reasons? As a NMF, I’m still searching for good schools financially, and UA doesn’t have the same appeal (to me) as it did when it offered a full ride. Thoughts?</p>
