Also, from my experience in pre-calculus, I don’t think I’d do too well in Calculus just because it’s not very interesting to me.

If you want to major in economics (or business), you will probably have to take calculus for the major. You may want to get a slower gentler introduction in AP calculus AB in high school rather than having to dive into it first semester in college.
