<p>This is an unfair stereotyping for a large group of ppl who just happens to stand out. I mean, we can go on and on about the cut-throatedness of pre-laws, or the drunkness of business/ politics majors too. But not everyone falls into those stereotypes, just as every major I’m sure has some annoying predominant characteristics.</p>

<p>I think the article was actually pretty accurate of what a “typical” pre-med is. But that doesn’t mean that EVERY premed is like that. Plus, it’s not a pre-med’s fault that he/she has to study their butts off in order to make the grade for med school, it’s the system that forces students to do that. I mean just the simple fact that students have to turn to (illegally) using medicine in order to stay up to study should say something about the system.
This article should be titled “Top 5 reasons to hate the pre-med system” NOT the pre-meds themselves. Although I feel a little insulted that people view pre-meds in such a horrible light…many of those things are true… sadly.</p>
