So sorry about your painful shoulder. Have you tried acupuncture? I had a procedure where they attached little electrodes to the end of the needles as they were into the muscle and for maybe 5 or 10 minutes they pulsated inside my muscle and it truly worked wonders on stiffness, flexibility, pain and swelling. I prob cannot have this done with a new surgery, but perhaps the surface tens would help out!
An ice machine and a tens unit are def on list…I am still working on which ones to select. I don’t know anything about light lasers.

I did not have TKR but I had surgery a few months back that involved bone. I ditched the idea of ice machines (the cheap ones are PITA and the expensive ones are $$$) and instead went with ice packs. They worked very well. I will have to dig through my Amazon orders to find them, so will post a link later. Good luck with the procedure!
