<p>For OOS students, the financial gap is tough to bridge. I believe that USC will offer NMS half tuition. Duke’s Robertson scholars are offered full ride scholarship which is extremely difficult to get. If your D wins state competition (individual or small team), she has a very good chance to be selected by the Wells scholar committee for interview. But, the outcome is not predictable either. Besides that, IU does offers $1000 for NMF in addition to any company’s awards your D may get. </p>

<p>Paying OOS tuition to attend a public premed program is a big no-no. I don’t know your D’s EFC. In some cases, your D may pay less going to a top private college. You can go to the following forum to review the discussions.</p>
