<p>What state competition are you talking about winning for the Wells scholar interview? I was wondering about the Wells scholars, which I know is a HUGE long shot. Is is to her advantage that we live in a state that doesn’t send many to IU? She would be the first in her HS to apply for a Wells scholarship. </p>
<p>We are not going to allow her to attend a school where the cost is more than what she could go to in state. We are lucky and live in a state which is very generous with their merit money.</p>
<p>This is why I was asking about what others are receiving on top of the $11K OOS award. </p>
<p>We are not going to qualify for any need based monies.</p>
