You cannot sub-lease your Towers apt for the summer. If you are not staying for the summer you can pay a penalty fee and get out of your lease (DD’s roommate did that last summer).

My daughter loves UCF and is very comfortable in the Towers. She is a Health Science major and it is very demanding. She has liked most but not all of her professors. The science depts seem to have a lot of foreign professors who are competent but have such thick accents that they are difficult to understand. She tries to get to these classes early and sits in the front. The Physics and Chemistry depts are loaded with “English as a second language” professors. She relies on rate my professors (the website) when chosing classes to ensure that the professor is at least understandable. She joined a sorority as a freshman, something that she originally said that she would NEVER do, and she is very happy with her social life.
I highly recommend the Towers. The location is great on the northeast side of the campus. She loves having her own parking spot in the garage next to the dorm and of course, it is well located on game days!
