Thanks guys - I checked but the closest store that has one in stock is in Ann Arbor a good hour away. Don’t know that I can take the time to drive there to get it!

abasket-

Check your PM.

I’m more of the “buy it and eat it” from TJs. Sitting at my desk right now next to a box of Holiday Jo Jos. Yummy.

B&N online now shows “ships in 2 - 3 days” and indicates that it will arrive by the 24th if expedited shipping is used.

Though simple, I absolutely loved their classic “chicken fried rice”. However, I’d recommend supplementing it with your own chopped chicken, there really isn’t much provided but a few miniscule shreds.

TBH

Just wanted to let you all know that I was able to get my hands on one of the “I Love TJ’s” cookbooks! Wow - well worth your money if you are a TJ’s shopper. Great pictures and the recipes look special but are simple enough for everyday cooking. TONS of great recipes!

Perfect gift for someone for Christmas if you’re still shopping and the price is right too! Would also make a cute Valentine’s gift - you know kind of the “I love you and YOU love TJ’s”!!!

Amazon just sent me a “we’ve shipped your order” email message after sending me a “you won’t see your books in 2009” message. So I expect to see the books soon, if not by Christmas, then before New Year.

I already had to mail off one Christmas package without it–I just printed a copy of the front cover of the book and the Amazon hype paragraph and told the lucky recipient that I’ll send the actual book as soon as it arrives.

I can hardly wait! I haven’t been involved in such a highly sought after item since I had to scour the town for Gigapets!

So glad to hear good things about the book - I ordered it days ago – hope it comes soon!

Well, I found a way to get my Girl Scout Thin Mints fix once the Thin Mints are gone - Candy Cane Joe Joe’s.

yum.

I picked up the I LOVE Trader Joe’s Cookbook last night at Barnes and Noble—and I love this cookbook. The Cranberry Pork will be on the dinner table tonight!

I have SUCH a bad case of TJ envy!

TJ’s email today–their top 33 favorites. Frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken tops the list for the second year in a row.

The Frozen Mandarin Orange Chicken is delicious! I get to TJs about once a month and I always bring some (OK, a lot) of it home.

Silvervestersmom, can you share the rest of the list?

I’d love to see the list too! :)

Here it is

Triple Ginger Snaps in the top 10!!

^^Thanks, Rachacha. I don’t know how to post links.

I can personally attest to #5, 11 and 14 :o

I made the orange chicken for dinner and served it over Trader Joe’s microwaveable brown rice. It was amazing. We all agreed it was better than our local chinese takeout. I also bought frozen grilled eggplant parm and it was delicious.

Wasabi mayo!!! This sounds good…

If you like wasabi, the Wasabi Wow Trail mix is quite good. It’s a mixture of wasabi peas, almonds, cranberries and peanuts. I also like the Sweet, Savory and Tart mix which has a variety of nuts, raisins cranberries and white, peanut butter and milk chocolate pieces. Yummy! These are perfect to keep on hand when people come over unexpectedly - except for the fact that these bags don’t last too long. I have to keep a few bags hidden this time of year!!
