Trader Joe's Top 10

They just weren’t out? My daughter misses some crabcakes they had too, they were frozen in a box. They weren’t sure if they were discontinued, but they hadn’t seen them in a while.

My local TJ just did a major redo of where stuff is located in the store. The only stuff in the same place is cheese, product, milk & meats. They completely rearranged the freezer cases. No clue why, as they didn’t add any new shelves.

Looking forward to trying the new gluten free Joe Joes. Has anyone seen them in the store yet?

I didn’t physically see them but saw the ad for them at the counter, so I am assuming they were there.
I know when my store rearranged things they had a lot of complaints but in this industry they sometimes do that to make you look at other things. I tend to go to the aisles where I know my favorites are and not look at other things. That’s fine, but I know from working in retail, moving things just makes it harder but forces your eyes to see more things.

Oatmeal Soap
Jojoba Oil
No-salt marinara sauce
Vanilla bean JoJo’s cookies
Pumpkin bread around the holidays

I believe they are in my store, however since I’ve gone strict low-carb in the past 3 months (& lost 20#), I’m not tempting myself!

Our store had the GF Joe-Joe’s a couple of months ago (June?). A little dry-tasting to me, but I am not the one in the family who needs GF (younger daughter). She enjoyed having them, but has not asked for more. I haven’t even looked to see if they are still on the shelves or not. When I bought that first package, they were on display near the registers.

Thanks for your responses. I’ll try most anything once.

TRADER JOE’S PB&J BARS!!

They are truly addicting, and I don’t even like peanut butter that much; also, not a fan of raspberry (jelly), but there is just something about them. They are AMAZING! I can’t stop eating them!! I have waited in a huge line to buy JUST them. AND I got my mom addicted ;)

Now I have to try them. : ) I love the oatmeal/raisin cookies (100 cal pack)…but eating one is hard.

Momof3stars, I saw the pumpkin bars today at Trader Joes if you haven’t seen them yet.

But they didn’t have my favorite low fat french toast…seemed to replace it with a higher fat version…loved that, 15 minutes in oven, 110 a piece, delicious. Also 100 cal bags of cookies missing too. Oh well…not the end of the world, but I liked them.

I can’t wait until the seasonal Trader Joe’s Gingerbread Cake & Baking Mix returns. The gingerbread is amazing.

My kids liked the gingerbread houses too.

Was at my TJ’s today. Picked up the pink Himalayan sea salt and orange muscat vinegar my sister is obsessed (she doesn’t have TJ’s yet where she lives) with along with some of my favorites–the frozen organic brown rice in microwavable bags, chicken shu mai dumplings, green chile tamales, and their house blend coffee. TJ’s is the only place I can reliably find baby bok choy and broccolini. I resisted the urge to buy a bar of the milk chocolate with 30% whole hazelnuts. Can’t wait for peppermint JoJo’s to be back in season!

Debruns thanks! I will have to ask my oldest DD to send me some boxes.

smdur1970, I also love the gingerbread mix.

My TJ has the frozen mixed seafood back in stock!!!

A few weeks ago I tried the yellow Thai curry sauce in a demo w mixed veggies. It was yummy and I picked up 2 jars and made leek, pepper, eggplant, and zucchini curry w veggies fresh from the farmers market.

I read up a bit on curry and decided to make the sauce from scratch. TJ sells cans of coconut milk for $0.99. Used the same types of veggies, plus fresh celery, and made a delicious curry Friday night. Added some leftover Costco chopped rotisserie chicken and had enough for 2 meals.

Are the curries usually spicy? Our wimpy family (including me) can’t handle spice very well. I would love to try the curries, but not sure if we can tolerate it. Thanks-

The yellow was not spicy. It was a bit sweet. When I made my own, besides curry powder, I added some chili spice, a few red pepper flakes, black pepper and a dash of cinnamon.

^^^Thanks for letting me know! I guess yellow Thai curry from TJ’s will be in our future the next time I stop in there! ;)

Don’t get to trader Joe’s too often, so I stock up when I do. Went last week and tried some items that I hadn’t before.

Big thumbs up for:
Smoked Trout - great with cream cheese on their Bite Sized Everything Crackers
Pumpkin Cranberry Crisps
Creamy Toscano Cheese soaked in Syrah - great taste, not really creamy, more like a cross between cheddar and parmesan
Milk Chocolate Smashing S’mores - dangerously good bite sized s’mores
