thrower1, I forgot about the Chile Lime burgers!! Last time I bought them DH and family loved them. They are definitely going on my list this time. I will have to bring 2 coolers lol.

We finally went. Love it! Bought prepared lemon chicken, frozen hash browns that my son can make for himself, refrigerated chicken tenders that can be microwaved in about two minutes. Son loves the mac and cheese, the snacks. Makes my life much easier to have good and appropriate food that the little charmer can make for himself if necessary. For me, I bought the frozen risotto with asparagus. Will be having that tomorrow night and will update.

Okay, so it is not a healthy food, but wow, I bought their frozen Danish pancakes. These are much like zeppoles without the mess and the work (I will admit that I have never made zeppoles). You do not fry them, but you bake them for 10 minutes. Then just dust with powdered sugar! Yum!

I don’t know for how long they carried these, but I knew that they were winners when I saw that they had about 5 bags left. It was the only item in the freezer section that was not well stocked!

Tarte d’Alsace in the frozen pizza department …although I think there is a mistake on the label. It says there are 4 servings per container…I find that each time I make it …there is only ONE serving…:D

Love the Pub Cheese…it’s spreadable cheddar, either plain or with horseradish. A couple of TJ’s organic celery sticks judiciously dipped into the Pub Cheese almost makes up for the one serving Tarte d’Alsace .

Dark chocolate covered mints anyone ? And how about TJ graham crackers ?

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the Trader Joe’s spinach dip. I think that is their best product.

Trader Joes supplies my family’s FAST FOOD (it’s cheap, quick & good)! I

Buy these mostly weekly:

Barbaras Cereals, such as Puffins (much cheaper at TJs)

Irish Breakfast Tea
Instant Oatmeal
Almonds or Trail mix
Greek Yogurt
OJ - calcium added
Chick Parm (refridg) --but haven’t seen it in a few weeks ![]()
Pulled Pork (refridge)
Frozen Cheese enchilladas but haven’t seen family-size lately ![]()
Pasta – any type w/ marinara sauce
Frozen Mac n Cheese
Veggie Burgers & natural franks for the grill in the summer
C.C. cookies or JoJos
Frozen fruit for smoothies (e.g. berries, mango)
Frozen veggies (lots of goodies/time savers)
Washed lettuce mixes
Bambino Pizzas

When I feel like cooking a great meal, I go on adventure trips to HMART and Whole Foods. Both have better meats, fish, fresh produce and bakery bread than TJs.

Someone earlier mentioned the citrus shampoo and conditioner, which I also like, but I absolutely LOVE the oatmeal soaps I bought for my guest bathroom. I bought two different soaps, and I can’t remember the specific name, but once I unwrapped them, the smell was so nice and refreshing I felt like my bathroom had a total make over. I have pretty fair skin so am nervous about new soaps or shampoos, but my skin loved TJ’s soaps. I’m running low, so next time I visit my D in Boston I am stocking up.

The trail mixes, the nuts (sweet and salty nut mix), Beefy Rolls for dogs, tea, frozen pie crust and puff pastry, the ice cream, frozen pizzas, Pita bite crackers, grated parmesan/romano blend, smoked mozzarella (when they have it), goat cheese, cage-free eggs, salt and pepper potato chips, coho lox, my cat loves the canned cat food…

Bumping again because I am going this weekend!!! :D

A couple of weeks ago, at our local Trader Joes, they had tamales in the refrigerated section (not freezer). Usually store bought tamales are not good, but they gave out samples and they were incredible so I bought some. I went back the next week for them and they were gone. According to the manager they get them for about 3 weeks a year.

We eat the frozen one they have which are pretty good even though not a replacement for fresh ones.

Low-Carb hubbie: jumbo eggs, applewood bacon, green tea, bagged trail mix
Gluten-Sensitive child: edamame crisps, frozen edmamame, TJ’s brand GF bread, TJ’S GF boxed mac & cheese, brown rice pasta
Rest of Family: whole wheat pasta, EVOO, cottage cheese, half & half, milk, cheese sticks, frozen strawberries, sweet potato tortilla chips, frozen tuna steaks and other frozen fish

Our TJ’s is next door to a produce market, so we really don’t buy much in the way of fresh fruits and veggies at TJ’s.

I had a sample of this tonight - very nice - not too sweet.
