Medicine?
Are you intending to go to Medical School? If so, you don’t need to attend UCB or UCLA to increase your chances. In fact, going to either school could hinder your chances. Also, you don’t need to major in anything related to medicine for medical school - you just need to do well in the med requirements.
I’m not too knowledgeable about what would make somebody an in-state vs. OOS student. Perhaps someone else could elaborate. I think if you completed a certain number of years in a CA high school, then you may be in-state, but I really don’t know.
