Honestly speaking, you have very slim chances at Haas or UCLA BizEcon/Econ because of your GPA.

Haas had an average average admit GPA of 3.81 and is only going to increase this year due to the elimination of the breadth requirement.

UCLA’s (2010 numbers) BizAdmin and Econ both had average admittance GPAs of 3.94 and 3.95 respectively. Additionally, waiting to complete 4 prerequisites in your final spring semester will place you at a bigger disadvantage.

If it’s possible, I would advise to spend another year at CC and bring your GPA up. A ~3.85 with completed prerequisites is more competitive than what you have now. If staying another year isn’t feasible, I would recommend applying to another major with similar prerequisites.

Don’t take my post the wrong way, but I rather you look at the numbers and face some truth as opposed to getting your hopes up because of what a misinformed/misguided counselor said.
