<p>I’m going to be honest with you and say that your chances of transferring into Stern are not good. I think I read somewhere that there were 3-5 successful internal transfers into Stern; out of an undergraduate population of 5000 that’s pretty terrible. Also, I will say that there is a certain bias against LSP students; the general perception is that they are less qualified than the other students - I will not speak to the legitimacy of such a belief, but it is there. </p>
<p>As strange as it seems, if you really wanted to go to Stern, you would have a better shot at getting in by attending an entirely different university and transferring as opposed to going for an internal transfer. While I personally do not know a single Stern student who has matriculated from a different NYU college, I know several students who have transferred from other Universities (some less prestigious than NYU).</p>
