Yeah it does. It should be brought up all the time. Students come on this message board all the time asking what moves they need to make (like grades, which classes to take, etc.) to go to an OOS college, when that shouldn’t be their concern - the insane high cost that can pull you under a life time of debt should be the major concern. It needs to be emphasized, many times. Just because the handful of people you know who are transferring are aware of the cost to go to a UC, doesn’t reflect the actual large amount of students, across the whole country, who may not be aware, at all, of how much it costs to attend a UC on an OOS price tag.
