The MCB program attracts many top students who enroll in it to fulfill many of the prerequisite courses required by applicants to medical school. Since it has so many top students applying, I wouldn’t count on an ACT of 27 assuring your acceptance. Nor would I assume that a 3.1 GPA, regardless of it being over the minimum accepted, is high enough to assure admittance. Don’t get me wrong, I hope you get admitted, but all programs within LAS are not equal, and this is one of the more selective within the college. You’ve got a shot, but it depends on the number of spaces available and who else is applying.
