Transfer student question.

YMVC, in my opinion, they ask for your high school transcripts because you haven’t established a “reputation” per say as a college student. 24 credits is “reputation” standards. To the colleges you’re applying to, having 24 or more credits means you’ve completed at least two semesters as a college student, and have a cumulative GPA that consists of the (hopefully) high grades you’ve received in about 8 classes. It also shows colleges that you’re not in the “I don’t think college is for me” stage, and are committed to doing well.
