<p>hey i have a question about transferring to stony brook as a freshman transfer applicant. currently i am a freshman at fordham university for the fall of 200 semester. i am majoring in natural science and i know stony brook is the place for this field of major. When i applied in high school i was put on the waitlist due to the fact i applied to late and then eventually i was denied. so i planned to transfer to stony brook for the spring semester of 2010. The admissions office said they would look at my high school grades and scores and then see if i reach their standards and i have to have a 3.0 gpa after my first college smeseter a fordham. i believe i may have around a 2.8 or 2.9 gpa after my first semester at fordham. what do u guys think will be my chances of being accepted into stony brook for the spring semester of 2010 as a freshman transfer applicant?</p>
