<p>Right, but I’m telling you that 24 credits has become something of a practical minimum – especially if you weren’t admissible as a freshman, because your GPA and SATs haven’t gone up. One semester of college coursework isn’t going to be enough to stand out against what will likely be a very strong spring class, especially considering that by the time you get those grades in early January, the incoming class may already be full.</p>
<p>That’s why I said fall 2010 is going to be much more realistic. I don’t mean to be discouraging, but we want applicants to know that it’s going to be tight this spring.</p>
