<p>I totally plan on taking lower divs! </p>
<p>I’ll take 1 or 2 lower divs my first semester. That way, I’ll be able to take on 4 classes instead of 3 classes + a DeCal, without feeling like I’m taking a too heavy load. </p>
<p>Lots of people (myself included) still need to fulfill some lower div pre-reqs or courses required as pre-reqs for outside major upper div classes they plan on taking in the future. </p>
<p>Besides, as ucbalumnus already said, you must only complete 36 upper div units.</p>
