transfer to Conn Coll

Ms. Ovaska simply volunteered to email me the decision. I didn’t tell her my email since they have it on file.

I just got the letter. As what I’ve predicted, sadly, I don’t get accepted. I wish you all good luck!

why is transfer admission at conn on a rolling basis??
They did not mention it on the app and the homepage.

I sent all of my app in the middle of March.
Was I too late to send an app to get admitted??

Like I said earlier in this thread, no, it’s not. I submitted my app three days before the deadline (April 15th) and I got accepted. If your application was completed after that, then you’re considered on a “space available basis”, meaning if they’ve got space left, and they REALLY like you, you’ll be considered. Your application was there well before mine if you sent it in March, so when you sent it will obviously not be a factor in your decision, don’t worry. :)

Lydia, I’m sorry to hear that. Best of luck to you wherever else you attend!

I got rejected.
I think applying for finaid is the most negative impact on my decision.
Oh…well…
I applied other two schools and also applied for finaid.
I think there’s no hope for me…sigh…

Chocola, I’m really sorry to hear that. However, there’s still hope! I know it’s a little more difficult for international students to get finaid, but in my transfer experience, finaid hasn’t hurt me at all, despite my high need (my EFC is less than $10k). I’ve been accepted to all 5 of the small, competitive LACs I applied to, all with generous grants/merit $ and good loan packages. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be for you at Conn, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get into another great school. I thought finaid would kill me too, but in the end, it worked out all right. Good luck and let us know how it works out!
