As far as credits that’s a trickier question. UC makes the determination of what you get credit for and they don’t publish charts except for CA community colleges (on ASSIST). For any class you are thinking of taking the best you can do is read the description in the catalog at your CC and see if it matches up to what you can find for a similarly named class on ASSIST.
At least worth considering is whether it is affordable for you to remain in CA and attend CC here. Units are cheap, your main expense will be food and housing.
