This post looks pretty much like a dupe of this one:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-washington/1327441-chances-into-uw-wsu-wwu-computer-science-program.html
(except this one is more direct and is asking about UW in general vs a specific program. I think people are able to address both in one post though.)

First of all congrats for getting your act together. I had a 2 something gpa in high school…later went to seattle central with my AA and a 3.92 gpa and was able to successfully transfer to UW. So I’ve been on your path, and I think it’s great what you’ve done thus far.

I will say it’ll be hard to overcome your hs grades w/out an AA or at least making sure that you’ve have your college academic distribution requirements squared away: [College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADR) | University of Washington](http://admit.washington.edu/Admission/Transfer/CADR)

It’s hard to tell from this post if you have or not. If you take care of all of the requirements, then your grades in high school are no longer important. Hell, even if you look at just what specific classes you took in high school that were not up to par…and then taking the college equivalent at seattle central, your odds go way up.

Without knowing this type of information it’s hard for me to say whether you’ll get into UW or not much less a specific program.
