Sorry for the misunderstanding. I’m going to be in DGS this fall (class of 2013) but my first choice was the business school.
Is it hard to achieve a 3.6-3.8 range GPA in UofI? (My courses are Math 220,Econ103, Rhet105, and GenEd. I’m not taking a lot of courses because I decided to join the Merit Program.)
Do you know anyone that had intercollege transfer into the business school?
Did they join a whole load of extracurricular activities?
What level of Math did they have to take? (I’m planning to join a sorority, the i-programs at the leadership center, and a new Ikenberry residence program called I-SPARC.)
Sorry for so many questions! I REALLY want to get into the College of Business…which is why I’m planning 9 months ahead of time!
I heard about 50% gets admitted, and of that 50%; 50% is from GenEd. So…around only 63 people from GenEd got in for 2008-2009.
I just want to get a sense of how competitive the applicants have to be in order to get a pretty good standing chance. I’m just dreading that I would fall at the other side of the cut off line.</p>
