@honormulan, Why are you still posting about this? You have two years of high school language (already verified with UC links and repeated comments) plus you are doing IGETC. We’re here to help but your over-thinking and second-guessing leads to wrong information. (Referring to other posts.)
If you are doing IGETC which you said you are earlier, and your major is Sociology, then you need language, but you already have it fulfilled. So this is a moot point.
@goldencub knows 100% what he’s talking about but he obviously thinks you’re breadth. You’re not breadth. You’re IGETC. While it is not an admissions req, sociology wants it. Without it, you have lowered your acceptance dramatically. Especially, as I believe, there are not that many major requirements. In fact, there may only be one that is articulated. Going in without IGETC is a bad choice. I’m not exactly sure how TAG will view it.
I know you’re understandably nervous, but you need to take a breath, look at the links provided to you as well as the suggested sociology rules if you want the best outcome.
