Transfering from Indian university to any of the UCs immediately after sophomore year for CS major

It is very hard to transfer direct from an int’l institution. Most int’ls come from a CCC. 2014 UCLA transfer stats:

Direct from Intl institution:
206 applied
11 admitted
Admit: 5.34%

Intl from CCC:
3,019 applied
793 admitted
Admit: 26%

I believe Berkeley and UCLA are the most transfer-friendly. These stats are from UCLA.
