Transferring for the Second Time Among Top Schools

From your post you never actually enrolled in any classes at the 2nd school, right? you never went there, you never had any experience of it-you were accepted as a transfer student and took a leave of absence before enrolling, yes? If so you didn’t actually ever ‘go’ there. Yes, if/when you apply to a new school you put that you are on a LOA from school #2 (and you withdraw from school #2!).

Unless…the situation is murkier than you are saying here…

What do you mean by the situation being murkier? @collegemom3717

She probably is wondering if you are telling us the whole story.

Posters are making the point that If you have never enrolled at NU, you would technically tbe transferring from Rice again. You can’t transfer from a school where you never attended or enrolled.

Good luck, I am sure U of SC will love to have you. Many students have transferred or chosen to attend schools closer to home due to the pandemic.

what qualifies as enrolling? What if I dropped a class just after they started? @Mwfan1921

You enrolled in just one class this quarter and NU and dropped it before classes started?

Yes. @Mwfan1921
