<p>i called this morning at 10:30 and the lady i spoke to said that according to what she saw, i was still admitted, but the website still says decision pending for me as of now</p>

<p>Via assist.org, I picked a number of random community colleges who have agreements with SB, and apparently, they all have this admission agreement, but check your own college for specific details. The agreement assures that you’ll be offered admissions if you satisfy all of the conditions.</p>

academic period. - The Fall 2007 UCSB Transfer Admission Agreement applies to general admission to the College of Letters and Science but not necessarily to a specific major. Some majors in the College of Letters and Science may also require completion of specific major preparation course work. - This agreement does not apply to students with senior class standing

- Complete four courses selected from among at least two of the following three areas with C grades or better in each course by the end of spring 2007 for fall 2007 admission:
a) Arts and Humanities (designated UC-H on the UC-Transferable Course
Agreement)
b) Behavioral and Social Sciences (UC-B on the UC-Transferable Course
Agreement)
c) Biological and Physical Sciences (UC-S on the UC-Transferable Course
Agreement) - Complete the last 30 of your 60 or more UC-transferable semester units in
residence at a California community college (you may complete summer session course work at an institution other than a California community college without jeopardizing your residency status). - Earn a minimum GPA of 3.00 in all UC-transferable course work completed by the end of fall 2006 for fall 2007 admission. Students must maintain a minimum gpa of 3.00 through the end of spring 2007.
- For the College of Letters and Science TAA, the following biological science
majors require completion of specific major preparation course work:
Aquatic Biology, Biochemistry-Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences, Cell and
Developmental Biology, Ecology and Evolution, Microbiology, Pharmacology,
Physiology, Zoology

This Transfer Admission Agreement does not apply to: College of Letters and
Science-Computer Science, B.A., Dance, B.A./B.F.A., Music, B.M., Theatre,
B.F.A., and Law and Society, B.A.; College of Engineering-Engineering and
Computer Science majors; and College of Creative Studies.
Please note that the College of Letters and Science expects students to earn
their degree without exceeding 200 quarter units. You should select your major carefully and complete as much major preparation as possible prior to transfer.</p>
<p>P<strong>r<em>e-</em>M</strong>a<em>j</em>o<em>r</em>s:
Certain majors at UCSB require that students complete remaining prerequisite
courses with a minimum grade point average at UCSB after transfer to be advanced to full major status. Major preparation articulation agreements (found online at <a href=“http://www.assist.org%5B/url%5D”>www.assist.org</a>) include detailed information about the pre-major. Students may contact UCSB academic department advisers to discuss their plans to transfer and get more information about the pre-major.</p>

California community college transfer students may complete IGETC
(Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) in lieu of the UCSB
General Education requirements. Students planning to transfer into high unit
majors must be careful to complete lower division major prerequisites if they
are to make normal, timely progress through the major. Therefore, students
pursuing a high unit major are advised to focus first on major preparation and
then either IGETC or UCSB General Education.
While completion of IGETC is not a requirement for admission to UCSB, in order
to waive the lower division General Education requirements for graduation from
UCSB, IGETC must be completed prior to transfer and you must obtain
certification from your community college. If you think you will not complete
IGETC prior to transfer, check the articulation agreement for General
Education/Breadth online at <a href=“http://www.assist.org%5B/url%5D”>www.assist.org</a>. There you will find a list of
courses that will meet UCSB General Education requirements. UCSB’s General
Education requirements do not have to be completed prior to transfer.</p>
